Description:
After a while i see that Xorg server has memory leak. I use memstat to see how many memory used by X server, so for now it's
323352k: PID 2091 (/usr/bin/Xorg)
and i think that it's too much.

You don't provide any useful information:
- what drivers do you use
- what applications do you use
- do you use compositing
- what do tools like xrestop show?

Usually, X leaking memory, is not a bug in X, but a bug in an application or a driver.

I use nvidia proprietary drivers. Applications that i use are:
1.VirtualBox
2. FireFox
3. Sometimes games under wine and epsxe
4. I have KDE
I use compositing always.
When i'll see that X eats many memory i try to use xrestop.
For now Xorg use only 33480k. my uptime is 4:30. Maybe you're right, and it is a problem in nvidia drivers.

it happens againg. I don't played games, but i used opengl screensaver. So maybe is a driver bug. I don't know. Here is information:

xrestop - Display: localhost:0
Monitoring 53 clients. XErrors: 0
Pixmaps: 195425K total, Other: 187K total, All: 195613K total

memstat says
348664k: PID 2139 (/usr/bin/Xorg)

Are you still having problems? You might like to try if it happens outside KDE and report to Nvidia in their forum.

For now i don't use any DE, only compiz and awn. My apps are psi+,firefox,deadbeef,q4wine.
Xorg use 108M res, and 209M virt memory. I don't know what is normal memory usage, but read that it must use ~30M res memory. So are you think that it is nvidia driver problems?
Thanks

Is the behaviour you are describing now similar to the behaviour you had in October?
Can you reproduce it? Does doing the same things you did in KDE then, cause a memory leak in X now?
