I am connected to my wi-fi router via wicd. When I turn off the router I get a subj error and a long call trace in /var/log/messages.log. Also there is an intensive disk activity starts when this error occurs, so my laptop hangs for about 5 minutes (probably due to 12309 kernel bug).

My laptop is EeePC 1000H, wireless adapter is AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter (Atheros Communications Inc.)

Did you report this upstream? Is it still a problem?
