I've just updated my Gnome desktop to the 2.32 release and the sensors applet doesn't work. Trying to build it again from ABS gives the following error I could't workaround:

checking for GNOME... configure: error: Package requirements (libgnome-2.0 >= 2.8.0
libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.8.0
libpanelapplet-2.0 >= 2.0.0) were not met:

No package 'libpanelapplet-2.0' found

install gnome-panel-bonobo and the applet should start working

please note that you actually need to pay attention to pacman ouput
