For some reason the latest stable qt package in extra seems to have been built without XVIDEO support. I do not see the "-no-xvideo" in PKGBUILD's configure option which leads me to believe that whomever created the package did not perhaps have the libxv package installed ? I only discovered this issue when I attempted to compile the "multimedia" component from the qt-mobility package and failed because of the QT_NO_XVIDEO macro being defined. Anyhow, when I created the package on my own machine using the same PKGBUILD from abs, the problem goes away... Additional info: qt 4.7.0-2 Steps to reproduce: Save and compile and run the following code snippet: #include <QtCore/QDebug> int main(int, char**) { #if defined(QT_NO_XVIDEO) qDebug() << "QT_NO_XVIDEO defined"; #else qDebug() << "QT_NO_XVIDEO NOT defined"; #endif } |
