gnome-applets 2.8.2-1

Tested with $LANG=fr_FR and $LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8

No i18n problem with all others applications.
Gnome works great (in French), but all gnome-applets (date, mixer applet, system monitor applet etc) are in English.

Resolved, you can close this task.

Add to your /etc/profile :

export LC_ALL="fr_FR"

gnome-applets uses LC_ALL and not LANG.

Ah thanks, but it still is a bug: gdm doesn't export LC_ALL when you choose a language, so applets show up in english when using gdm too.

I will look in the gnome-applets code and see if I can find something on this issue.
