Sometimes it's useful to be able to access a memory card during bootup. Some built-in card readers are not usb based and need additional modules. I've used "usb" hook as base, adapted it for memory cards, and added an udev rule for loading modules. It does it's job, at least for me. I've created a package named "mkinitcpio-mmc" and it's in AUR. I'll be pleased if it goes into mkinitcpio. |

Also, by-label and by-uuid links work fine with MMCs.
I've just updated aur package, so there's only the install file in it.
