Details

Description:
After a random amount of time, varying from as little as eight minutes to an hour, the wireless on the system will drop completely and will not rediscover hotspots until the module is manually reloaded via rmmod and modprobe.

as a workaround i can suggest reloading module in post-down script of that interface. until issue gets fixed...
don't forget to put some sleep between rmmod and modprobe.

BTW can you pls post what dmesg shows when problems start to occur? (when you cannot reconnect)

try adding nohz=off to kernel options in grub configuration
