xinerama has been explicitly disabled in the QT package. removing the configure script flag, --no-xinerama adds xinerama support for kde and QT.

I notice in the KDE compilation guide, this is in the example configuration, which notes only to use it if you don't plan on using Xinerama.
Recompiling a QT package in abs with xinerama yeilds no bizzare problems. I can send you the updated package at request...
