Cannot login to awesome after upgrading cairo to 1.10 Reason: cairo 1.10 does not enable xcb anymore. This is an upstream decision from cairo developers, because xcb is (allegedly) unmaintained and unstable, and this breaks awesome. Solution: install cairo-xcb package. Problem is cairo-xcb is an AUR package and it might not be good policy to have a community package depend on AUR. Would it be possible to have cairo-xcb in community too? |
