Open k3b 2. Goto Settings -> Configure k3b... The dialog will never be displayed and k3b's main window will disappear, as k3b has just crashed. PS: Everything was normal with qt 4.6.x. |

there's a patch in comment #29
I also tried it after removing any ~/.kde4/share/{apps,config}/k3b* files as you suggested.
The same behavior.
There is no KDE crash window displayed.
Now works flawlessly under qt 4.7.
I even went through all Settings Window options/elements/tabs to "stress" it. No problems.
I attach proposed patch and PKGBUILD.
