DetailsPlease add '/etc/fam/fam.conf' to the default NoUpgrade entries for '/etc/pacman.conf'.
I set the 'Timeout=0' value in fam.conf in order to have the fam service persist through startkde/logout sessions from runlevel 3 & 5. Without this, FAM service terminates upon first logout and does not re-start upon subsequent 'startkde' sessions. KDE _apparently_ uses FAM to auto-update the filemanager views as files/folders get altered, in real-time. Thanx. |

etc/fam/fam.conf is already listed in fam's backup() array. In my tests, a modified fam.conf is left intact.
