DetailsDescription:
Since updating extra/frei0r-plugins (1.1.22-2 -> 1.2-1), extra/finch, as well as extra/pidgin segfaults on startup. Strace log up to the segfault is attached. I recompiled finch with --disable-gstreamer, that fixed the problem. As I have heard, frei0r stuff isn't that stable yet, although kdenlive depends on it via mlt, so I didn't get around the rebuild / making a custom package for me. Additional info: * finch 2.7.3-1, gstreamer0.10-bad 0.10.19-1, frei0r-plugins 1.2-1 Steps to reproduce: Tried on my host x86_64 and a i686 vm livecd, installed finch, gstreamer0.10-bad and frei0r-plugins and it crashed. On the vm, pidgin 2.7.3-1 crashed as well. |
