Details

Currently, when providing extra mount points during the installation, ie /home, the installation forces these mounts to be formatted, this causes problems when doing a new install with an old /home directory and forces people to either backup their partition or manually add it after installation.

Suggestion:
Provide a ``Would you like to format this partition? Warning: If the partition is not already formatted.. etc etc'' dialog when selecting extra mount points.

Hmm, the installer already does ask for permission to format filesystems.

I'll double-check and get back to you.

The setup script does ask if you wish to create a filesystem on the mountpoint or not.

A box comes up saying "Would you like to create a filesystem on $PART? (This will overwrite existing data!)"
