DetailsDescription:
Rhythmbox 0.13, released earlier this year, has been upgraded to 0.13.1. Rhythmbox in the Arch Linux repositories is out-of-date by two stable releases, and both of these releases are not compiling at all because DAAP support has since required libdmapsharing, which can be found in AUR/Unsupported. After installing libdmapsharing and using the attached modified PKGBUILD, Rhythmbox 0.13.1 compiles, installs, and works properly. Additional info: * package version: 0.12.8 at the moment. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install libdmapsharing via AUR/Unsupported. 2. Use the attached modified PKGBUILD with official rhythmbox.install file (both attached) with makepkg. |
