Details

audacious 2.4.0 from extra compiled without libcue, and doesn't support cue playlists. Also it doesn't support automatic detection of encodings in tags, because compiled without libguess.

I have moved libcue and libguess to [extra], and compiled audacious-plugins and audacious against them; these should be in the repos soon.
