Here is list of patches included in debian unstable packege: binutils-avr (2.20.1-1)
Meybe (I think so) it's good idea to include them all but I don't known what each one of them do exactly.

I'll get to work. Let's hope these don't have anything "BSD-specific" in them. I have a sick feeling that they do.
Like I said they are included to debian, ubuntu and other distros.
If you can also confirm that it is working, then I guess this bug can be closed. :-)
