Description:
nouveau driver doesn't work with supported gpu (GeForce 6150SE / nForce 430 (NV40 family)). In feature matrix is supported (http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/FeatureMatrix) but is impossible to start the X server and the desktop enviroment.
I attached the X server log file.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Install nouveau following the arch wiki (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nouveau)
2) Reboot
   Xorg.0.log_xf86-video-nouveau (8.1 KiB)

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  nouveau requires KMS. Without KMS, it can't open DRM correctly, as the logs indicate.

Because you disable it. Remove nomodeset from kernel command line ;)
