DetailsThe current PKGBUILD for core/kernel26 lists the methods for configuring a custom kernel in the following order:
make menuconfig make nconfig make xconfig make oldconfig I'd like to suggest placing 'make oldconfig' at the top of the list instead. Comments can be added which encourage users to 'make oldconfig' first to bring their .config file up to date, and then use one of the other options such as 'make nconfig' for further customizations.
