Description:
kernel26-2.6.35.* does not correctly report which channel the wireless interface is on.

This is most noticed when trying to use tools from the aircrack suite, but many other userspace tools may also be affected.

There is no patch that has been accepted by linux wireless developers - and it isn't even clear if there will be. I am deferring this until they make up their mind.

still a problem with a new kernel, if so report it upstream
