Description: just to keep in some place more visible than mailing list archive. If some TU are interested in doing the build, here are the necessary patches. If need some feedback/testing/sign-off just ask to me ;)

(require a gcc-avr 4.5.1 + patch below)

* update to 1.7.0
* Fix license: BSD -> custom
* Remove all || return 1

* Add a patch to support more architectures, can compile fine
avr-libc-1.7.0.
Patch from [#1] plus add syntax fixes (missing commas).
Anyway there is a bug in gcc-4.5 with AVR, current avr-libc 1.6.8
neither compile without it. [#2]

I've built and uploaded updated packages to [community-testing]. Can you please verify that I haven't messed up something? :)

Actually, the packages will appear in the repo in a bit; gcc-avr needs a pkgrel bump. :3

gcc-avr looks good for i686 and x86_64
avr-libc looks good for any
