Description:Instead Sync to Vblank is already checked and in the game verticalsync is checked too, but with each new login, I have to uncheck and re-check "Sync to VBlank" in Nvidia-Settings or in the game it is not vertical synced!

I tried as root and normal user, I deleted the .nvidia-settings-rc and reconfigured but after logout/login vertical sync seems not to work in the game while still Sync to VBlack is checked.

Additional info:
All packages are from only stable repos. And I have this problem the last two nvidia drivers.

Sure, this is how works. You need to parse .nvidia-settings-rc for every time. This can be done in .xinitrc if you login in X via startx, adding nvidia-settings -l before exec ...

I added like in the file but still same problem is here
   .xinitrc (0.2 KiB)

all in the same line will not work.
Are you sure that you start X via startx command? I guess no because your .xinitrc will not work.

EDIT: this is more a suppor request rather a bug report, please use forums for that purpose. And if this is a bug, please report in nvidia forums, we can do nothing with closed source drivers and userspace.

Well, I added "nvidia-settings -l" entry in /preferences/startup applications and now there is no problem. Btw I loginf with gdm.
