Anyway, this bug can be fixed by deploying META file from source to /usr/lib/ocaml/site-lib/lablgtk2
(and it seems that it's a standard thing for an ocaml lib to do, not something ocamlfind-specific)
The library is then found by ocamlfind:
$ ocamlfind query lablgtk2
/usr/lib/ocaml/lablgtk2
