DetailsDescription:
After installing the new xorg-server and after a restart the X is continuously flashing and blinking. Desabling composite seems to solve the problem. The issue is similar to issue [ Aditional info: -Nvidia driver version 173.14.27. (Nvidia GeForece FX 5500) - X server version 1.8.1.902 - Two displays 1440x900 resolution. - 686 system instead of x86-64. When "AddARGBGLXVisuals" is on "True" in xorg.conf (nvidia settings) both screens are flashing, changing the size of the items all the time. |

You can try your luck with reporting the issue to nvidia,
or try nouveau driver.
