Description:
Upon upgrading k3b to 2.0.1-1, it no longer can start due to the missing shared object "libkcmutils.so.4"; a possible solution (courtesy of 'wonder' from the forum post; see below) is to update kdelibs to 4.5 (the current version in extra is 4.4.5-1), which supposedly does include this file. Forum thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=812028 Error msg: $ k3b k3b: error while loading shared libraries: libkcmutils.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Additional info: * package version(s) k3b-2.0.1-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Upgrade k3b to version 2.0.1-1 2. Attempt to run k3b |

Not a bug, but a packaging issue where the packager had kdelibs
4.5.0. Most users are still waiting for kde 4.5.0 to show up in
[extra]. As a result, those users are running kde 4.4.5 with
kdelibs of the corresponding version. For kde 4.4.5 users,
compiling k3b 2.0.1 from ABS works just fine.
I have rebuild the packages using an [extra] chroot.
