Arch host is using the pulseaudio sound system. Run qemu-kvm with guest sound hardware support. Qemu-kvm will use the pulseaudio alsa-plugin. This causes high cpu load on the Arch host and sluggish sound application response on the guest. Compiling qemu-kvm with pulseaudio support fixes the above problems as the pulseaudio-plugin is no longer used.
