Details

There is currently no PKGBUILD prototype for the bzr SCM.

I propose here this missng prototype (see attached file). It includes directives to correctly retrieve the source code from a launchpad bzr server. Indeed, if the user is already logged into launchpad when starting makepkg, the use of bzr with a "lp:project" URI will end in bzr trying to access it using ssh. This will fail, because we are then in a fakeroot environment, where ssh will try in vain to create the /root/.ssh directory...

Appart from this detail, the rest is very classic. Note that it follows the recent specs ("Maintainer", no || 1 use, presence of a "package" function).

I've tested it on a classic bzr repository and on the launchpad repository, both are OK.

Cheers,
Tofe

This has been in the abs git repo for a while now:
http://projects.archlinux.org/abs.git/tree/prototypes/PKGBUILD-bzr.proto

I really should make an ABS release...

Oops :)

Well, at least you've got an updated version for free :)
