the XCBSurface class is missing, I guess this is a packaging problem because it seems to be implemented upstream. also the package is out of date, but I do believe this is unrelated Additional info: pycairo 1.8.8-1 the package xpyb (which is in AUR) is some how also required to get it too work http://cairographics.org/documentation/pycairo/2/reference/surfaces.html#class-xcbsurface-surface Steps to reproduce: $ python Python 2.6.5 (r265:79063, Apr 1 2010, 05:22:20) [GCC 4.4.3 20100316 (prerelease)] on linux2 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import cairo >>> surface = cairo.XCBSurface Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'XCBSurface' |
