Details

ftp.linux.org.tr mirror in Turkey supports the HTTP protocol. It may be useful for people who cannot connect to ftp because of firewall restrictions.

Updated our db. Thank you.

However the mirror is listed as untiered in our db.
Are you the admin?

Yes I admin the server. We were previously mirroring from ibiblio.org, but their mirror was not updating. After sending them an e-mail about the problem, we switched to the tier 1 mirror ftp5.gwdg.de yesterday.

Changed the record in our db to mark you as tier2 syncing from gwdg.
Please make sure you use the following rsync options -rtlvH --delete-after --delay-updates --safe-links --max-delete=1000
and join arch-mirrors mailing list.

Should I use the same email address as in your bugtracker profile to contact you about mirror issues?

BTW, can you make http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:NewMirrors page more accessible ? I barely was able to find it even though I visited the site a few days ago.

The link is on the top of Local Mirror page, which is on the top when searching for "mirror" on the wiki.
I don't have any other ideas, but if you do - please open a separate feature request about that.
