DetailsIn 2.6.35-1, the CFQ IO scheduler has been configured as a module. As a result, the deadline scheduler is now the default.
I believe this was done accidentally by configuring the Block CGroup controller (CONFIG_BLK_CGROUP) as a module. Making the controller built-in should allow CFQ to be built-in and made default again. |
