Mirror domain name
We have actually been mirroring arch linux for a while. I recently inherited the mirror infrastructure and I noticed that we were not doing it properly -- we were syncing from archlinux.org and did not notify you. We have two widely available FTP servers, one in New York and another in Chicago. We also have a 3rd server in our local data center that is only accessible via Internet2. These are on a round robin DNS setup, so they are all ftp.osuosl.org .

We have migrated to a multi tier mirroring scheme to reduce load of our main server. ATM we have two tier 1 mirror in the US you could sync from. Just let us know which one you have chosen. See http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:NewMirrors for more details.

Thanks for supporting us.
