DetailsIt would be super nifty if the new Pacman Mirrorlist Generator on the website (archlinux.org/mirrorlist/) had rankmirror capabilities.
rankmirrors could rank ALL of the mirrors say once a week or once a month and store the entire list of ranked mirrors in a file on the server. Then, when someone requests servers for a region and HTTP/FTP, the script that outputs the new mirror list would simply match the servers to the ones in the ranked file and output a mirrorlist file with the servers in ranked order. Currently, rankmirrors is broken due to the new pacman release so I can't use rankmirrors. This would be an awesome addition to the new tool! |

Anywho, i hope the rankmirrors script get's fixed soon to work with the new $arch variables.
