DetailsAccording to the Python packaging guidelines, Python libraries should be named python-*. I could not find this library when I searched for it because I assumed that the name started with "python-". I must not be the only one to make this mistake as my python-beautifulsoup AUR package (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=37386) now have 12 votes and one package depending on it.
Could you please rename beautiful-soup to python-beautiful-soup or python-beautifulsoup ? Regards, Pierre Bourdon. |
