Description:
This bug happens using kde 4.4.95 from [testing] repo. This doesnt happen in kde 4.4.

Additional info:

* config and/or log files etc.
kde 4.4.95

Steps to reproduce:
Try to set your default xcursor. If you dont know how to do this just use arch wiki. The cursor sets fine, but then open systemsettings, go to input devices, mouse, cursor theme. Choose any other theme. The systemsettings will crash. Now open any kde application e.g. konsole. Try to type something randomly, after few secs konsole will crash. the same happens when you type in konqueror.

Well, when you will package kde 4.5.0 i will sure make a test again, and see if the bug still exists to me.

Well i still reproduce the issue using testing repo with 4.5.0. To give you more info, install dmz cursor with sudo pacman -S xcursor-vanilla-dmz, create a file called index.theme in /usr/share/icons/default . In that file paste that:
[icon theme]
Inherits=Vanilla-DMZ
now restart xserver and again try to do what i wrote in bug report.

well, that's what I have since my last comment, I never deleted it but never saw any crash. Did you catch any error message?

Ah, after i created new user (which uses same old .kde4) the problem is gone. It looks like its been recently fixed. Marking it as solved :)
