It is obvious that this can be solved with the command

pacman -S cmake

But it would be nice if it was declared as a dependency.

Why does kdevelop need it?

i can't build a project if i don't provide a cmake executable for it.
I don't know why, but i cant

What if I do a PHP project? Do I need php as dependence?

If you use cmake for your project, you need it.
