Details https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=558789 was added in 3.6.7, so we can now build with the system libevent library.
It looks like one just needs to add `ac_add_options --with-system-libevent` to mozconfig and things should work from the patch here: http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-1.9.2/rev/4b8165a8d602 Of course, the dependency will need to be added as well. |

I think the change will actually have to take place in the xulrunner package, but I see we have the mozconfig file in both places...
