DetailsUdisks has a couple of dependencies of which i wonder (pun intended) if they're really necessary, like lvm2 and parted. Is there a reason why they have to be included, instead of being optional?

because it has helpers to manage lvm and creating/deleting partition. i want this to work out of the box

i understand, it's too bad that this makes the new pcmanfm a rather heavy package, while it is intended to be a lightweight alternative

lvm2 is not a heavy dependency (and besides that it's a base package), and parted is required for the partition probing.
