DetailsCurrently, opencv requires : gstreamer0.10-base ; gtk2 ; jasper ; libdc1394 ; libv4l ; python ; xine-lib.
Nevertheless, on the website : http://opencv.willowgarage.com/wiki/InstallGuide, it seems that all dependencies are optional dependencies. So the installation of kipi-plugins installs some video packages (gstreamer0.10-base, libdc1394, libv4l and xine-lib) which are not required by kipi-plugins. Is it possible to make gstreamer0.10-base, gtk2, jasper, libdc1394, libv4l, python and xine-lib optional dependencies for opencv ? Thanks. |

moving those in optdepends is out of the question as it would make opencv useless and broken
