Description:
Attempt to install anjuta with pacman fails with complaint that libsoup isn missing. Same pacman reports libsoup exists and is of the required version. Additional info: pacman is version v3.4.0 - libalpm v5.0.0 desired ajunta 2.30.2.1-1 (current on arch website) existing libsoup is 2.30.0-1 note: the ajunta page shows many dependencies but not explicitly mentions libsoup. Problem "solved" in that, once libsoup-gnome was updated, everything else went smooth for installing anjuta. Impression is something wasn't quite right about libsoup, libsoup-gnome, or anjuta's dependency information, causing pacman a rare moment of confusion.
