When logwatch is installed, it is configured by default to mail 'root' and also 'print'. It is also set, by default, to run as a daily cron job. The result of this is two messages to 'root'. One from the logwatch 'mail' option, the other from the cron job output. Additional info: * package version(s) - Last tested on 7.3.6-2, i686 * config and/or log files etc. - Uses default config Steps to reproduce: 1. Working sendmail 2. Install logwatch 3. Each day, two logwatch outputs will be mailed: one from cron, one from logwatch. |

I cannot reproduce this bug with 7.3.6-2. Additionally, the fix changes a config file from the one shipped upstream.
