Details
Description:
After installing chromium it failed to start. Running it from a terminal it gave the following error: FATAL:gfx/font_skia.cc(131)] Check failed: tf. Could not find any font: Helvetica, sans. To get around this problem I installed ttf-ms-fonts, but I'm guessing I could also install an xorg package which contained sans? Steps to reproduce: * Installed X11 using: pacman -S xorg * Installed gnome using: pacman -S gnome gdm * Installed chromium using: pacman -S chromium * Open a terminal and type: chromium BANG: ERROR (See above ^) * pacman -S ttf-ms-fonts * Run chromium and it now loads! |
