DetailsDescription:
Firefox scaling is horrible Additional info: Firefox 3.6.6-1 Cairo 1.8.10-1 Steps to reproduce: set up Firefox to scale up all images (common on high resolution display but small screen space) eg in about:config change layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.3 (1.0 is default) and load a page with images, scaling is extremely ugly and quite more than just an annoyance, images are sometimes barely recognizable. A fix has been made for Ubuntu here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/217908 Upstream will take ages to implement the fix. |

upstream is the right way. they know better how to fix it and if they didn't committed the patch yet, then is something wrong with it
