Description:
gegl must be rebuilt against new x264 20100607-1 package

$ ldd /usr/lib/gegl-0.1/ff-load.so | grep libx264
libx264.so.84 => not found

$ pacman -Ql x264 | grep libx264.so.
x264 /usr/lib/libx264.so.98

Additional info:
gegl 0.1.2-1
x264 20100607-1

Steps to reproduce:

$ ldd /usr/lib/gegl-0.1/ff-load.so | grep libx264

i guess you are using ffmpeg from aur or you just updated after so many months that you missed the ffmpeg "downgrading" [1] ?

it was about 3 months this old machine was not updated.

Just "updated" ffmpeg (30526-1 => 23619-1) and linking works again.

Maybe you should add options=('force') in PKGBUILD to prevent this case.
