Description:
I've changed my user password (non-root) and now when i try to launch Empathy (some other apps too, if depend on keyring), i'm receiving this message: "Enter password for to unlock your login keyring The password you use to log in to your computer no longer matches that of your login keyring." So now Empathy doesn't work at all. My old password used to be the same as the root password, so if i enter that password, it seems to work, but nothing happens. If i enter any other password (e.g. my new user password) the screen just pops up over and over and over again. Something is wrong here! Can I help you help me fix it? Additional info: * package version(s); Gnome Keyring? * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: I have changed my user password and now this message seems to pop up whenever the Keyring is accessed because of it. Apps aren't working now if they depend on it (like empathy). :( Any ideas? |
