DetailsThe makeworld utility provided by pacman does not operate as expected when a relative path is given for the directory into which the built packages are to be stored. Makeworld will appear to be functioning properly, and will compile and build the packages, but they will not appear in the finished packages directory provided by the user unless the full path is given. Makeworld will build all the packages the user requested and will not report any errors that it is not infact writing the packages to disk. I have also used the locate utility to see if makeworld is writing the package to some other directory, but I don't believe it is.
