hi
kdm does checks profile stuff for zsh
zsh doesn't provide it
i looked in gentoo ebuild here:
http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/app-shells/zsh/

there must be some files added to /etc
please correct that, that i can revert my patches to kdm's Xsession which is a really bad hack (that was me told by the kde devs)

Plese have a look at task #2122: /etc/zsh/zprofile was added to zsh package.
Does it fix the issue?
If not, can you elaborate more on what is missing?
