DetailsDescription: comix 4.0.4-3 includes a thumbnailer for nautilus. However the PKGBUILD script passes --no-mime to the install.py installation script and so doesn't install the files needed for the thumbnailer to run:
mime/comicthumb -> /usr/bin mime/comicthumb.1.gz -> /usr/share/man/man1 PKGBUILD script installs gconf schemas manually (mime/comicbook.schemas) and they contain definitions for thumbnailers for x-cbz, x-cbr and x-cbt files that call comicthumb. comicthumb is not available, and as a result blank images are generated for every comic book file in nautilus. Additional info: * comix 4.0.4-3 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install comix 2. Enter a directory with comic book files (*.cbr, *.cbz or *.cbt archives) 3. Thumbnails generated are empty images instead of thumbnail of comic book cover/first page Possible fix: Add following to PKGBUILD: install -D mime/comicthumb $pkgdir/usr/bin install -D -m644 comicthumb.1.gz $pkgdir/usr/share/man/man1 |
