Description:

chromium's Chinese font is ugly, on the same environment, I've also installed firefox.
The firefox's font shows very well.

Additional info:

chromium 5.0.375.70-1
firefox 3.6.3-1
ttf-fireflysung 1.4.2-3

Can you give me a good sample for setting? I don't think so. I've remember several versions ago, it works.

請問有配置範例可供參考吗? 我覺得並不容易設定到可以用的字型.(曾經 google 過, 除非把字體放超大, 不然根本不能看).

i'm sorry,usually i use firefox,not chromium.in fact,i'm a little hate chromium.
though it faster than firefox, it too simple to use.it don't have firebug,web developer plug-in, i can not fit it. but chinese font ,you can try this url, we had discuss it for many times :

抱歉，其实我平时使用的是firefox，我并不是很喜欢chromium（chrome）。虽然他速度比火狐有优势，但是用户体验太差了，太过于简单了，没有firebug，没有web developer，让我难以适应。关于中文字体，你可以参考下那个链接，我们在论坛讨论过很多次，应该是配置文件/字体文件的问题，做修改后应该可以解决。

i found a solution,you can try it: (simplified chinese)


cd /etc/fonts/conf.d/
sudo cp 49-sansserif.conf 49-sansserif.conf_backup
sudo rm 49-sansserif.conf

maybe it works,but flash plug-in maybe not works...

您可以按照上边的命令执行下，应该可以解决问题。我的是简体中文，不知道繁体中文是否通用。
修改这个文件还可能造成flash插件乱码/汉字不显示状况，请酌情考虑。

ming chyi, your method won't work for me. (I use traditional Chinese).
I think this problem is caused by chromium don't follow system's font pixel mapping settings.
These bugs make the chromium is useless for Chinese/Korean/Japanese users.
