Description:
When compiling with makepkg, links fail with :

In file included from charsets.c:21:0:
codepage.inc:3261:2: erreur: stray ‘#’ in program
codepage.inc:3261:18: erreur: expected ‘}’ before ‘LETTRE’
codepage.inc:3261:18: erreur: stray ‘\347’ in program

I'm on a french system with UTF8. The error is caused by ./Unicode/macroman.cp which contain a 'ç' character on line 199. This character is badly encoded (encoded as a X) and generate a codepage.inc which is
malformed

I join the patch and the new PKGBUILD for this to work properly.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
2.2
* config and/or log files etc.

Checking the links ml archives, I can't find your message anywhere.
I'm asking for a direct link to your report.

Thomas: Upstream wants bugs to be emailed directly to them. There is no public bug tracker or anything of the sort.
