I have updatet to the newest gtk (2.6.0-1) and gtk-engines (2.6.0-2) but now some gtk2 themes are not working anymore. I am using "Clarity" from http://jp.bizet.free.fr/themes/gtk2.html

An error messaage from gtk-chtheme:
(gtk-chtheme:3820): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "pixmap"

Try reinstalling gtk2, I think pacman removed the pixmap engine when it upgraded gtk2 and gtk-engines at the same time.

You might as well reinstall gtk-engines, gnome-themes and gnome-themes-extra after that.

What happened is that gtk2 passed file conflict check because gtk-engines was upgraded too. gtk2 gets installed with new files, old files are still registered in gtk-engines. Then gtk-engines gets upgraded, sees some files are not in the package filelist anymore and removes those.

You are right. After reinstalling gtk2 (only), all themes are working again.
