Description:
After upgrade to MPlayer version 31303-1, I'm experiencing heavy subtitle flickering whenever I play a video file which use SSA/ASS subtitle.

Also the "block" subtitle (basically a subtitle with colored background) no longer display in video that use them.

Both problems affected both xv (both normal and textured) and vdpau video output drivers.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
- mplayer 31303-1
* config and/or log files etc.
- None

Steps to reproduce:
1. Upgrade MPlayer to version 31303-1
2. Play video which use SSA/ASS subtitle, noticed that the subtitle is flickering

our mplayer doesn't use external libass. is using internal one + freetype. so i guess you are better with reporting upstream

note that you need a newer libass version. which is unreleased.

Wow. You're fast, wonder. :D Thank you for identifying the problem.

So... do you still need me to do the test? :)
